The VR102 Modern & Contemporary Floor Register is designed for clean style and dependable airflow control for heating and cooling systems. Crafted from solid cast aluminum with a durable black powder-coated finish, this decorative HVAC register is built for long-lasting indoor use. It fits a 8" x 14" duct opening With attached removable steel damper at back for smooth airflow adjustment. The top faceplate measures 10" x 16" and is 5 mm thick, providing a clean, oversized edge around the vent opening. Smooth beveled edges create a finished look on wood, tile, carpet, vinyl, and other flooring surfaces. Primarily designed for floor use, with optional wall or ceiling installation.

How to Install This Cast Aluminum 8" x 14" Floor Register?
The cast aluminum floor registers (8" x 14") are very easy to install. The previously installed Floor Register must be removed, and then the new Floor Register (8" x 14") must be just dropped into the vent. There wouldn’t be a need for any tools. This can be done by any homeowner without a problem.
What Are Standard Cast Aluminum Floor Register Sizes?
Standard Register sizes can be anywhere from 2" x10 " up to 18" x 18". The most common sizes are 4" x 10", 4" x 12", 6" x 10", and 6" x 12". Our 8” x 14” Cast Aluminum Floor Register also fits most standard-size air duct openings.
Does this model include a damper and can it be removed?
Yes -the VR102 ships with pre-attached steel dampers at the back. Dampers are adjustable to control airflow and can be removed easily if required.
How high does the faceplate sit above the floor and will it fit under furniture?
The faceplate sits approximately 7 mm above the floor (plate thickness is 5 mm). It’s low-profile and fits under most furniture; avoid placing heavy sofa legs directly on it to prevent airflow restriction or damage.
How do I measure my vent to ensure the 8″ × 14″ model will fit?
Measure the inside of the duct opening (edge-to-edge) -that’s the nominal size (10″ × 16″). Note: faceplate outer dimensions are roughly 1″ larger per side. Use our “How to Measure” guide if unsure.
