Convert your Floor Registers/Vent covers to Sidewall Vents. You can easily install your floor vent covers to side wall vent covers using these mounting clips.
No holes are required to drill in floor registers to mount with screws on walls. Attach these wall mounting clips to your floor vent, insert and push the vent cover into the side wall duct opening
Wall mounting clips are durable and are not visible from the front side of the vent cover; your vent will look beautiful on the wall. These spring-mounted metal clips come in a set of 4 wall clips and longer screws. Clip Size is 2- 1/2 inches in length. One set is required for on register
Mounting instructions:
Turn the floor vent cover upside down to expose the damper attached at the backside of the vent cover/floor register. Unscrew the damper screws from the floor vent cover. Position the wall mounting clips on the same screw holes where the damper was attached. Use the longer screws provided with the clips to fasten the clips onto the damper firmly. Use a screwdriver to tighten the screws properly. Ensure the screws are tightened securely to prevent the vent cover from falling or becoming loose after installation. Once the clips are securely attached to the damper, your floor vent cover is configured for sidewall use. Insert and push the prepared vent cover into the sidewall duct opening. Adjust for Proper Alignment. Check the alignment and positioning of the vent cover to ensure it fits properly against the wall. Adjust if necessary to make it flush against the wall. For ceiling application, you need holes in the vent cover face plate and matching screws to install on ceilings
