What Are Push Pull Door Handles?

  • Push pull door handles are large, sturdy hardware pieces designed as back-to-back (H-type) ladder-style handles that you mount on entry doors, storefront doors, and commercial entryways. These double-sided handles allow pulling from one side and pushing from the other, providing functional dual-sided operation for any door application. The H-type ladder design features horizontal bars connecting two vertical posts on both sides of the door, providing multiple grip points at different heights for convenient access. This creates a sophisticated architectural statement while offering a hygienic solution - you can grip the handle instead of touching door surfaces with dirty hands.

Types of Push Pull Door Handles

Two large wooden doors with long black handles are open, revealing part of an interior hallway with a decorative wall sconce. Ornate planters with trimmed green topiary plants stand on either side of the entrance.

Round 'H' Type Push Pull Handles

Modern cylindrical profile with 32mm diameter tubular bars offering smooth, ergonomic grip. The round ladder-style design creates a sleek contemporary look perfect for modern residential and commercial spaces. These handles provide a refined, minimalist aesthetic that complements glass, wood, and metal doors equally well.

Square 'H' Type Push Pull Handles

Bold geometric profile with clean lines and sharp edges that make a strong design statement. Square push pull handles are ideal for contemporary architecture where you want hardware that commands attention. The angular design pairs beautifully with modern office buildings, retail storefronts, and luxury residential entries.

Modern front door with a vertical handle, set in a yellow and gray exterior wall, next to a window with horizontal blinds. There is a small doormat and a potted plant by the entrance.

Rectangle 'H' Type Push Pull Handles

Elongated rectangular profile combining functionality with sophisticated aesthetics. The wider grip surface provides comfortable handling for all users, making these handles particularly suitable for high-traffic commercial applications. Rectangle handles bridge the gap between classic and contemporary design styles.
